Breakdown

All good things must come to an end! Our plan to head North to sample the River Motaba, and to do some forest regeneration experiments had to be slightly modified due to our trusty vehicle breaking down.. leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere. Undeterred, we head off into the forest where we were (helped greatly by local helpers armed with machete) to set up an experiment a little further South. Later, we also manage to successfully sample a number of rivers by towed convoy. Our misfortunes were more than made up for however by the group getting their first glimpses of forest gorilla, chimps and monkeys!
